In this series, I re-purposed the rough, wall-like textures found on canvases I created for my Thesis Project. The result was an examination of time, space and playfulness that is torn-apart by acts of violence and vandalism.

Like many "walls" found in the cities of the world, the randomness of attacks on surfaces can yield interesting and beautiful results.

This series, titled Time Lapse, is my exploration of the destructive nature that is the second half of the artistic dichotomy. In the end, I believe that creativity and destructiveness can combine to reveal a compelling aesthetic harmony.

These paintings were completed in December 2018.
