After completing my MFA Thesis Project in August 2018, I decided to increase the saturation in my color palette on similar content to see where I might end up.

 

In this series, I constructed thick wall-like substrates that I then layered paint on. Repainting areas over and over again until the color arrived at the point I felt was right. I also eliminated lines in some areas, so as to create areas of recession.

 

These works were completed in the summer of 2018.
